WANTED: TRAVEL LEGENDS
We are seeking to appoint a team of active qualified Area Travel Managers “ATM’s” with many years of travel experience behind them who wish to remain or become independent and control their own destiny. To build a secure income for themselves whilst developing their own client based travel business; work from home, office or anywhere around Australia. Be able to work at their own pace and in their own time.
Legends of Travel Pty Ltd head office is based in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, with offices in most States. We are members of the Australian Travel Agents Co-operative, which gives us excellent buying power and a much greater variety of travel products. Our ATM’s work either full time or part time ... it's up to you as it's simply reward for effort.
Our web site and blogs are excellent selling tools for our ATM’s ... and we could link your own site (if you have one), should you have a unique product or package to sell. We have a monthly e-newsletter which our marketing department in Atlanta, Georgia emails to our data base of clients.
We can arrange to have you connected to our Amadeus Reservation system. This enables you to make your own air, hotel and rental car bookings. Training can be arranged if you are not familiar with Amadeus.
You will need professional indemnity insurance and we can assist you for a small annual fee.
You enjoy the benefits of what the travel industry can offer, IATA Agents ID card, discount travel clubs, inspection/familiarization tours, AD75 (discounted airfares) etc.
The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified travel managers, with an established client base, who have the drive and enthusiasm to earn good commissions and enjoy all that the travel industry has to offer, plus the freedom to be your own boss, set your own hours but have training and backup available if requested.
The regulations
This primarily means that all monies collected must be deposited in our Client Account and receipted via our central Tramada accounting system. All money paid out to operators must go through central accounting. You will be listed within our staffing as a contractor in accordance with the legislated regulations. You should register for an ABN.

LoT was established in 2011 and based in Darwin NT, the Directors are now located in Melbourne Vic. All Executive staff have over 35 years experience (each person) and are veterans of the Australian Travel industry.
The cost to you...
You will need a home computer or laptop and internet connection to which we will load the GDS system – Amadeus to enable you to make airline, hotel and car reservations.
The only cost to you is your phone/internet connection to service your own clients and Professional Indemnity Insurance. There are no further costs or charges from Legends of Travel Pty Ltd.
We have quality stocks of personal business cards, plastic ticket wallets for sale at cost so you can look very professional, but with no obligation. LoT also provides without cost, letterhead templates, with compliments templates, ticket covers/voucher covers templates.
Your Commission...
There are no monthly budgetary targets that you have to meet; it's simply "reward for effort".
We will give you all the assistance and help you may require, including brochure stocks and can look after your clients if you’re away or sick. We keep you in touch with specials, trade nights, brainstorming sessions.
Summary
The commissions you generate from your sales are split 80/20, less any credit card fees etc if applicable. That means that you do most of your own work except accounting. Should you want to take a more relaxed approach we can do most of the work for you but the commission rate is reduced to 50/50.
Commissions are paid after the event or departure, payment is processed monthly.
